Ordering from our website
For an order to be placed and a contract created between you the customer and us, My Dream Party Shop, the following needs to take place:
The confirm order button must be pressed at the end of the checkout process.
My Dream Party Shop will send you an acknowledgement email which will confirm the products that you have ordered.
Once your order has been processed and shipped, you will be sent a dispatch confirmation email.
Once the item has been shipped this constitutes a contract between My Dream Party Shop and you the customer.
If for any reason we are unable to fulfil any element of your order, we will contact you to confirm that we are unable to accept your order. It is rare that we will be unable to fulfil your order and will usually be a result of the following:
- the product is not in stock for some reason beyond our control;
- we have been unable to receive authorisation for your payment; and
- a product has an error in the description or a problem with the product has been identified meaning that we need to remove it from our stock range.
Shipping and Delivery
We are striving to keep our postage costs as low as possible. We are delighted to offer free delivery on all UK mainland addresses as long as the total order for products is £40.00 or over.
Orders that are less than £40.00 in value will be charged a flat shipping rate of £2.99. For urgent orders please select the overnight delivery option.
Our standard delivery time is 5 working days after you receive our dispatch email.
Generally items are not dispatched during weekends and on bank holidays. If you order on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, your order will dispatched the following Monday. If you order on a bank holiday, your order will dispatched the next working day. If you specifically need an item to be dispatched on a Saturday then please do email us in the first instance to confirm if this is possible.
If you have a query about an order you have not yet received, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you have a missing item you must inform us WITHIN 7 WORKING DAYS of the receipt of your parcel. We cannot send any missing items if you have not informed us within 7 days. We must be notified of an undelivered parcel WITHIN 30 DAYS OF ORDERING. After 30 days, if you have not received your parcel and you have not informed us, we cannot refund or replace items.
Please note that if a customer requests deliver to a 'safe place' it is the customers responsibility. We are unable to accept any responsibility for lost or missing parcels from a 'safe place'.
All shipping time frames including international, other than next day, are approximate and should only be used as a guide. During busy periods such as Christmas, please allow extra time to receive your order.
We really want you to be 100% happy with all of your items and we are striving for 100% customer satisfaction. If for any reason you are unhappy or you change your mind, we will be pleased to be able to offer returns up to 30 days from receipt of item. Outside of this time frame we will unfortunately not be able to offer you a refund.
Please contact us in the first instance to confirm that you are returning/cancelling an order at email@example.com with the subject header “Returns” and we will send you full instructions. Please include the following information in your email: Customer name, customer address, contact telephone number/email address, order number and the reason for the return.
To return your product, you should mail your product to: My Dream Party Shop, 413 Victoria Road, Ruislip, Middlesex, HA4 0EF, UK.
Please note the following:
- Please inform us by email that you are returning an item and the reason for the return.
- All returned items must be in an unused perfect condition, in the original packaging, ready for resale.
- You must provide us with proof of purchase to complete your return, i.e. an email confirmation, order number or the original invoice.
- If fast track delivery has been selected, only the cost of standard delivery will be refunded in line with the distance selling regulations.
Customers are responsible for the cost of returning all items. It is the customers’ responsibility to ensure that the items reach us. It is strongly recommended that items are sent by recorded delivery that insures the full value of the goods. Unfortunately we will be unable to refund any items that are not sent back to us.
Please ensure that you keep a record of proof of postage with the tracking number.
Under the “Distance Selling Regulations” you have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days after delivery. You then have 14 days after that to return your items. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Faulty or damaged items
If any items are faulty or damaged upon receipt or have a manufacturing fault, we can offer replacements or exchanges or a full refund. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject header “Damaged/Faulty item” or similar and provide us with a detailed description and some good quality photographic evidence. Return postage costs will be refunded subject to us receiving the items and agreeing that the items are damaged/faulty or that we have made an error.
Please note that refunds cannot generally be made for personalised or bespoke items, unless there has been an error on the part of My Dream Party Shop in the wording or the item has been received damaged or faulty.
Once your return is received
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also confirm if your refund has been approved or rejected. Provided all conditions are met we will refund you via the original method of payment. We aim to refund as quickly as possible and ideally within 1-2 working days of receiving the item. The refund will be made to the account used to purchase the item.
Please note that although we will confirm when a refund is made, in some cases there can be a delay of up to 14 days before your bank or credit card provider returns your money. If for some reason you haven’t received your refund, please wait a couple of days before rechecking your bank or credit card account. Please speak to your provider to double check if funds are pending before contacting us and we will do our best to assist you further.
We really want you to be completely happy by our service, it’s what we are all about and hopefully you have enjoyed shopping with us. If for any reason you are unhappy please contact us at email@example.com and we will do our upmost to make you happy again! We reply to all messages within 2 days of receipt (with the exception of weekends and bank holidays).
We take all reasonable measures to ensure that the website is in operation all day, every day. However from time to time technical issues may occur and this will result in some down time. We cannot be held liable if the website is unavailable at any time. Where possible we will try and give you advance warning of any maintenance issues that may require down time, but we are not obliged to provide such notice to our customers.
My Dream Party Shop shall not be liable in any way for any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly from the delivery of goods being delayed or prevented or for any other reason beyond our control including the acts of any third parties. We will we be liable for any damage or loss including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or any loss or damage whatsoever whether arising from loss of data, loss of profits or loss of revenue in connection with the use of this website.
Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through this website meet your specific requirements. This website contains material which is owned by or licensed to us. This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance and graphics. Reproduction is prohibited other than in accordance with the copyright notice, which forms part of these terms and conditions.
No unauthorised use of this website is allowed. It may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offence. My Dream Party Shop may provide links to other websites, but these links are for your convenience and information only. We do not approve or endorse the websites and we have no responsibility for the content of the linked website(s) nor for any data collection that they may make.
You may only use photographs on the website through permission by My Dream Party Shop. Our photographs are commissioned and owned by My Dream Party Shop or our suppliers and are therefore protected by copyright.
Use of the website
Users of the website should not copy, post or send any material/s from the website for which;
- they have not obtained permission;
- that is obscene, racist, pornographic, defamatory, in breach of confidentiality or privacy, sexist, deemed a criminal offence or is in contrary to the law in the United Kingdom; and
- which is harmful to the website including computer viruses or potentially harmful software.
If required to, My Dream Party Shop will full co-operate with any police investigation to identify any persons posting harmful material to this website.
Customer safety is of the upmost importance to My Dream Party Shop. Please ensure that you follow all safety instructions on our website or provided with products.
Balloons can cause choking or suffocation. Please ensure that babies, toddlers and children are fully supervised when in the vicinity of balloons. Burst balloons should be immediately discarded as should any wire or string used to hold up helium balloons. Babies and toddlers should be fully supervised and kept away from any cords or strings in which they could become tangled.
We advised that our party bag fillers should only be for children over the age of 36 months. We do not accept liability for any injury, damage or loss that might occur due to our products being given to anyone under the age of 36 months.
We make every effort to ensure that party bag fillers comply with the European Toy Safety Regulations and most products bear the CE mark and have age guides where appropriate. Please retain any packaging for future reference.
Accuracy of content
My Dream Party Shop does its upmost to ensure that all content and prices are accurate at the time of publishing. From time to time errors may occur. My Dream Party Shop makes every effort to ensure that prices are correct at the time that you place your order. If any errors are discovered, we reserve the right to suspend your order. We will contact you to let you know and confirm the correct price. We are not obliged to supply the goods to you at the incorrect price. We also reserve the right to amend any inaccuracies to the product descriptions on our website at any time and without prior notice to customers.
We also reserve the right to discontinue any products without any prior notice to customers. If you find any inaccuracies or errors on the website please do let us know so that we can correct them.
